PAYS TO BE A COWARD

     "It is praiseworthy to be
 brave and fearless, but sometimes it is better to be a coward. We often stand in the compound of a coward to point at the ruins where a brave man used to live. The man who has never submitted to anything will soon submit to the burial mat"...check:Arrow of God by Chinua Achebe.This was the case of the one time richest man in Nigeria who created the melodrama of June 12 1993, Moshood Kashimaawo Abiola who won the June 12 1993 presidential election which was annulled by the then Military Head of State. If he had followed the saying to run and fight another day he might have achieved is aim but now fickle-minded, lazy, fearful and cowardly people now point at him as a foolish, brave man.
   This also was the situation of Ojuku, the leader of the then Biafra who proved strength and bravery but ended up an assumed traitor to the Nation, Nigeria. However, his opposition who is now assumed the hero who saved the day, Obafemi Awolowo. The man (Obafemi Awolowo)
ever held up a weapon to fight though I am not saying he was a coward but he was in his comfort zone.
This is why i will finally say, it pays to be coward than end up a foolishly brave figure.

JUST WANT TO WRITE

I have wanted to write something because i find it as a hobby. I  have been longing for this until recently I stumbled on blogging. Now i am happy I can write for people to read
